Rocky Top Model Painting Competition 2025

The Rocky Top Model Painting Competition aims to inspire local artists and cultivate a vibrant creative community. This event provides a dynamic learning experience where miniature painters can explore new techniques, exchange ideas, and connect with fellow artists.
The competition follows an open-format structure, allowing participants creative freedom in their submissions, with the only restriction being the number of entries per person. Awards and trophies are granted based on artistic merit and technical skill. A carefully selected panel of judges, chosen by the Rocky Top Game Con administration in collaboration with Mythic Minis—a local miniature painting studio—will evaluate the entries.

Entry to The Rocky Top Model Painting Competition is free with the purchase of Grand Tournament Entry Tickets and/or All-Weekend Convention Passes. Get Tickets Here!
Entry and Registration
Entry Limits: Each competitor may submit one entry in up to two unique categories.
All models must be painted by the person entering the model.
In-Person Registration: Submit your entry between 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM on Friday, May 23rd.
